The Daring Way™ Method

The Daring WayWomen’s Groups

I am thrilled to be a Certified Daring Way ™ Candidate, which enables me to run workshops and intensives.  I was part of the first group of trainees at the first national Daring Way ™ training certification program for health professionals and coaches, held in San Antonio, Texas, in December 2013.  It’s great to be part of this movement. The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown.  The method was developed to help women, men, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent and lead. The way I work with clients is informed by this method as well as other practices that foster connection, compassion, and courage. Contact me about more information for groups just for women.  Read more about why I do the work here.

Leadership Development

I have also wholeheartedly embraced The Daring Way™ method to cultivate future leaders. The work is transformational. As we—and future generations—are called upon to show up as leaders and educators in new and creative ways, we need to be engaged and committed to aligning values with action.  The Daring Way™ method is perfectly suited for cultivation of courage, compassion and connection within organizations, colleges/universities and corporations.

Further information about the method  is available at www.thedaringway.com. Dr. Brown has published several books, including the New York Times bestsellers Daring Greatly: How the Courage to be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent and Lead (2012) and The Gifts of Imperfection (2010).
